Selvi Gunawan originally comes from Jakarta, Indonesia. Following an overseas experience studying and working in Australia and South Korea, Selvi permanently resides in Wellington, then graduated with Bachelor of Law from Victoria University in 2010.  

Selvi Gunawan is a dedicated and results-driven solicitor committed to providing clear, practical legal advice tailored to each client’s unique needs. With a strong foundation in family law, Selvi expands into general practice but still focuses on family law especially relationship property, family violence and care of children matters.

Selvi combines legal expertise with a compassionate, client-focused approach. She believes in building lasting relationships based on trust, transparency, and effective communication.

If she is not on her office chair, she might be found running or cycling along the Hutt River, at her local gym or cooking up a storm in her family kitchen.
